CornLeaf PLA Biopolymer yarn, solution dyed, bacteriostatic effect.

INGEO™ yarn - produced by Swiss Noyfil SA - combines the advantages of natural and synthetic fibres.

Ingeo™ Polymer is natural, because made from corn and totally biodegradable (100% compostable). The specific weight is less than for natural fibres, while tenacity remains comparable to synthetic yarns. Ingeo™ guaranties maximum comfort and wearability. UV Resistance and Low flammability (LOI > 26%) can be added. CornLeaf also has bacteriostatic qualities: the release of silver ions exerts antimicrobial action.
